How do I get a refund or get my money back?

IMPORTANT: Contact Peer Support before starting a refund process with your payment provider. We can help you get a refund.

Peer is a permissionless, non-custodial platform that never has access to user funds. We cannot process refunds directly, but we can contact the seller on your behalf.

If verification failed but you already sent payment:

  1. Contact Peer Support first - Open a support ticket with:

    • The seller's username/revtag
    • Your transaction details and proof of payment
    • A description of what went wrong
  2. Peer Support contacts the seller - We know many of our liquidity providers and can contact them to arrange a refund.

  3. Do not dispute with your payment provider yet - This can complicate the refund. Let us help first.

To avoid this situation:

  • Always send the exact amount requested
  • Always send in the exact currency shown
  • Double-check recipient details before sending
