Only if you cancel after 15 minutes. Quick cancellations within 15 minutes don't count against you.
How can I unlock Peer Pro and PayPal?
Both unlock through the tier ladder. PayPal opens at Peer Plus, which requires $10,000 in qualifying volume. Peer Pro requires $50,000. See What are Taker Tiers? for how qualifying volume is counted.
How do I delete my account?
If you signed in with email, email team@peer.xyz to unlink your email from your wallet address. If you sign in again with the same email, your wallet will relink.
How do I increase my tier?
Build qualifying Peer Pay volume. Historical maker volume earned before July 1, 2026 UTC is preserved, so past makers keep the tier they already earned. Going forward, only Peer Pay volume moves you up the tier ladder.

What are Taker Tiers?
Peer Tiers are Peer's reputation and limits system. Your tier affects your per-order limit, fees, cooldowns, and which payment methods you can use when buying USDC.
What are the fees on Peer?
Peer charges a 0.95% fee on transactions made through any Peer-built interface, including the website, mobile app, and any other official Peer products. This fee is applied to the transaction amount and is visible on the order confirmation screen before you submit.
What are the tier limits?
Your per-order limit depends on two things: your tier and the payment method you use. Each combination has its own cap, so there is no single limit per tier.
What chains are supported?
Peer is based on Base, but users can bridge to any supported chain in their transaction.
What currencies are supported?
Peer currently supports AED, ARS, AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, EUR, GBP, HKD, IDR, ILS, JPY, KES, MXN, MYR, NZD, PLN, SAR, SGD, THB, TRY, USD, VND, and ZAR. To request another currency, contact Support.
What is lock score?
Lock score is your penalty score. Lower is better. Cancelling orders (after 15 minutes) increases it. Completing orders dilutes it over time.
What is Peer?
Peer is a permissionless peer-to-peer marketplace for moving between fiat payment rails and onchain USDC.
What Payment Providers are supported?
Peer currently supports Cash App, Chime, Mercado Pago (ARS), Monzo, PayPal (multi-currency), Revolut (multi-currency), Venmo, Wise (multi-currency), and Zelle. Mercado Pago is available in the mobile app. To request another payment provider, contact Support.
Why do I need to install an extension?
PeerAuth intercepts the transaction API response from your payment provider and generates a zero-knowledge proof that verifies your payment onchain. All data not required for the proof is redacted, so no additional account details are shared beyond the transaction itself.
