Are there risks to providing liquidity?

Yes. Like all DeFi protocols, Peer has smart-contract and infrastructure risk despite audits. Market prices can also move against your configured rate.

Fiat payments can be delayed, rejected, or reversed. Before enabling a route, review its verification method and your outstanding exposure. Do not manually release crypto until you independently confirm that the exact fiat payment is final in your own account.

For payment methods where counterparty history matters, you can make a deposit Restricted and allow direct wallet addresses or curator-managed Groups. This can narrow exposure but does not stop a payment provider from reversing fiat. Review a Group's curator and membership criteria before relying on it.
